About KLA:
The Kansas Library Association was founded in December of 1900, when 23 librarians attended an organizational meeting and elected the first president, James L. King of Topeka. Since then, the association has met annually (with the exception of the years 1918 and 1943) to facilitate the acquisition of needed skills and expand opportunities for professional development within the library community. Now in KLA's 125th year, the 2025 Conference Committee is excited to once again bring together librarians and library workers from across the state to connect, learn, and celebrate 125 years of providing access to information, education, and resources to all Kansans.
The Kansas Library Association will facilitate the acquisition of needed skills and expand opportunities for professional development within the library community.
Identify and prioritize statewide continuing education programs for KLA involvement.
Promote KLA student membership at three regional library schools.
Develop materials for use in educating the public regarding library issues.
Plan and implement a high quality annual conference consistent with KLA educational interests.

About SCLA:
Begun in 1915, The South Carolina Library Association was established on October 27 of that year when fourteen librarians and library supporters met at the University of South Carolina Library and voted unanimously to form the new group.
We are a state chapter of the American Library Association (ALA) and an affiliate of the Southeastern Library Association (SELA). The association is made of librarians from all around our state South Carolina dedicated to providing innovative services and promoting libraries and intellectual freedom to all our citizens including the public, as well as those in higher education and in our schools.

AZH Conference 2025: Association of Zoological Horticulture

About AZH (Association of Zoological Horticulture):
AZH is dedicated to the advancement of horticulture in zoos, zoological parks, botanic gardens, and aquariums. We're an organization of professional horticulturists working in the specialized field of zoo horticulture. We work to highlight the importance of plants within zoos and aquariums, and seeks to support the horticulturists and gardeners who work in a zoological setting. We are a support network for zoo and aquarium personnel without training or background in plant science, but find themselves performing the work.
